CTMH AP/Tinkerbell & Friends Cricut Cart BDay Layout

I was inspired by Cathie at Creative Cutter Room with her "Cartridge Exploration" videos to attempt some Disney cuts. What better time to try it than for my birthday layout.

I cut the Tinkerbell from the Tinkerbell and Friends at 5.5". The cupcake is from the CTMH Art Philosophy cut at 5" (I think...lol). I am normally a layout pattern/sketch/scraplifter-alterer when it comes to layouts just to get them going quickly. However, this layout/design was completely using 100% of my brain (ouch). :-) I am thankful for the inspiration/motivation/challenge that I gave myself as well as what I received from Cathie!

I will be putting pictures of my birthday lit candles on these pages to coordinate with the "its all about the glow" title!

I had so much fun experimenting with this cartridge, that I am motivated to grab another one I have never used and see what I can come up with!! Hope you all like this as much as I am.

SPECIAL THANKS:

Cathie

Altered Composition Book for PROJECT 366

I used some CTMH Life's Delights papers that I had in my scrap bin to alter my Project 366 journal. It was super quick and easy. I cut the lettering with the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge. I am hoping the cheeriness of the journal helps keep me motivated.... :-)

Christmas Sock Cupcakes

These sock cupcakes are so quick and easy to make....and oh so cute!!! I used the cupcake wrapper on the Cricut Easter Seasonal Cartridge and then stamped it with Close To My Heart Feathery Flakes stamp set. I found the socks at Wal-Mart. I used a pompom for the cherry on top.

Cricut Pink Elmo For Diaper Bag

My daughter's boyfriend wanted an Elmo diaper bag for my new granddaughter, so I just had to volunteer to create them a one-of-a-kind diaper bag. I used the running Elmo from Elmo's Party cartridge cut at 7 1/2 inches. Heat 'n Bond was used to secure the layers as well as attach to the diaper bag.

Bib Baby Shower Invite

I made this Baby Shower Bib invitation for my daughter who is expecting my first grandbaby any day now... I used Mini Monograms cart for the scalloped circle then cut the "neckline" of the bib with the CM Circle cutter. I used the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder on the bib. The adorable elephant was cut from the New Arrival cart. Diamond Dust Stickles were used on the toenails, and the google-eyes made this elephant even cuter!!!

3+1= SUCCESS Cricut Gypsy MB Challenge

This card was so fun to design/create with my Gypsy. It is 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". I used the cartridges Doodlecharms, Lyrical Letters, Paper Doll Dress Up, Celebration.

The "glass" was made with transparency and the wand is the "glass breaker".

Cricut/Gypsy Hippo from Animal Kingdom

My daughter needed an ASAP card for a girlfriend's bday party. Her friend collects hippos, so couldn't resist this adorable hippo from the Animal Kindom cart. This was a quick and super simple card. I cuttlebugged with Swiss Dots the Happy Birthday and added a sparkle for bling to the dot on the "I".

PILLOW BOX treat box

I used the PillowBox on the Easter 2010 Cricut cart, then cut the present image out right over the top of the bunny that is "automatic" on this pillowbox. I used a background stamp to add texture then adhered acetate to the inside of the box to cover the hole for the present. I used Doodlecharms to cut out the tag. I loaded the pillow box with and gave them as treat boxes for my daughters bday party!!!

Fast and fun!!!!!
