Do you have some "I want to use this on a special layout" scrapbook papers? Have you found yourself keeping them for years? In my sorting through my papers, I found some of these "hang on to" papers, that I just don't see myself using now. I was so thrilled to turn the paper over and see a completely blank "canvas" to do whatever I wanted with. SOOOO....I decided to use my Cricut Imagine and make my own scrapbook paper. I had a certain project in mind, that of a covered composition book that is now my Recovery Journal.
I used the Cricut Imagine Yummy cartridge to print the papers, and also cut out the cupcake for the front of the journal. I laminated the cupcake and made a pocket out of the cupcake wrapper for the actual cupcake to slide in and out. Laminating it made a perfect dry erase memo spot!!!! :-)
Don't you just love it when you can really use what you have? YAY!!!

MARRIAGE MILESTONE #24
Today is mine and my husband's 24th wedding anniversary!! It is sooo hard to believe it has been 24 years! We have been through so much, and thankfully are still together. He is being extremely more supportive of me right now, and trying his best to understand as I am dealing with some long over-ignored health issues! I appreciate him soooo much more every day!!!!
We "half celebrated" on Saturday by going to a movie and out to dinner. The theater had a picture kiosk, so I thought it would be super fun to get some photos.
Happy Anniversary Honey!!!!!!

CTMH AP/Tinkerbell & Friends Cricut Cart BDay Layout
I was inspired by Cathie at Creative Cutter Room with her "Cartridge Exploration" videos to attempt some Disney cuts. What better time to try it than for my birthday layout.
I cut the Tinkerbell from the Tinkerbell and Friends at 5.5". The cupcake is from the CTMH Art Philosophy cut at 5" (I think...lol). I am normally a layout pattern/sketch/scraplifter-alterer when it comes to layouts just to get them going quickly. However, this layout/design was completely using 100% of my brain (ouch). :-) I am thankful for the inspiration/motivation/challenge that I gave myself as well as what I received from Cathie!
I will be putting pictures of my birthday lit candles on these pages to coordinate with the "its all about the glow" title!
I had so much fun experimenting with this cartridge, that I am motivated to grab another one I have never used and see what I can come up with!! Hope you all like this as much as I am.
SPECIAL THANKS:
Cathie

Altered Composition Book for PROJECT 366
I used some CTMH Life's Delights papers that I had in my scrap bin to alter my Project 366 journal. It was super quick and easy. I cut the lettering with the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge. I am hoping the cheeriness of the journal helps keep me motivated.... :-)

Pictures needing to be organized
Cropping tools and storage area that can really only be gotten to through the treadmill.. (lol - love the shoes)..
Entertainment center that on the left side is storing unopen photo albums (mainly 7x7). On the right side are my photo albums that are in progress or completed. The "tubs" on the left is one that has layouts that have been started and have the pictures with them and need to be finished and moved to an album. The left sided tub has kids' school papers, etc in it.
I had 6 of the tubs that were packed full that I went through on New Year's Eve and organized down to 2 main tubs. The bulk of the tubs were layouts just needing to be put into scrapbooks which I filled 3 new scrapbooks with!! YAY!!
The top of my crafting table
One side underneath my crafting table in need of desperate organizing.
Inside my rolling cart I keep all of my Cricut cartridges, Sizzix dies, and Cuttlebug embossing folders.
On the top of the rolling cart (which is totally going to get a paint make-over) are my Cricuts and Gypsy
The other side/underneath of my crafting table needing even organizing. The purple tub is full of scraps.
Iris carts FILLED with Acrylic stamps as well as wood mounted stamps.
Iris Carts filled with alterables and other junk needing organizing. The boxes are loaded with stuff needing put away or gotten rid of.
Paper stash
Wood/cling/acrylic stamps. Punches are stored in the tubs. In the crates on top of the shelves are more alterables (small mailboxes/composition books/etc).

I will consider this my Mission 12/12. If my Mission Plans are a success, by the end of the year I will have a completely organized scrap area/room/hallway (lol), and be able to see the progress each month. I have decided to take 12 pictures of my crafting area on the 12th of each month for the 2012 year.
